We are currently seeking Senior Distribution Associates for our client, Almac, based in Craigavon. These are fixed term contracts for 6 months, working on a shift basis.

The Role

Key duties will include:
Process Drug Order Forms received externally ensuring that consignee details, batch allocation, quantity and medication numbered packs are maintained accurately
Prepare all relevant paperwork required for each despatch in line with distribution procedures, carrier's requirements and customs regulations
Arrange shipping of ancillary orders, raising airwaybills and generating shipping paperwork
Issue, monitor and order stock of protocol specific labels required for distribution
Generate pro-forma and commercial invoices, Dangerous Goods Declarations, Certificates of Origin, ATR1 forms and any other country specific declarations
Perform and maintain computer transactions in line with distribution and material control systems
Track and trace all outbound shipments with couriers according to Standard operating Procedures
Liaise with couriers and carriers with regard to arranging collections and onward shipping, and respond to queries
Provide reports and print outs, and carry out administrative duties such as photocopying, filing and archiving of distribution documentation.

Hours are likely to be evening shift: Monday-Friday, 4pm-midnight. However, candidates should also be available to work the following if required:

Day shift: Monday-Friday, 8am-4pm

Night shift: Midnight-8am

Continental days: 7am-7pm

The Person

Essential:
Must be flexible to work shifts
5 GCSEs (or equivalent), Grade C or above, to include Mathematics and English Language
Previous experience within a customer and supplier facing role
Previous experience within an administration role
Previous experience within a shipping/export environment to include the generation of orders and completion of associated documentation
Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office packages (to include Word, Excel and Outlook)
Proven ability to follow written work instructions
Ability to organise, plan and prioritise tasks within a high volume, varied workload whilst maintaining a high level of accuracy in all work undertaken
Excellent communication skills (both written and oral)
Ability to work effectively on own initiative and effectively contribute within a team environment

Desirable

Third level education
Previous experience and/or working knowledge of shipping dangerous goods
