A prestigious and leading insurance organisation seeks to hire an experienced Commercial Account Executive for its Edinburgh operation. This opportunity will offer excellent career prospects to the successful applicant.
Role Requirements
Operating within a new business capacity, you will target firms paying commercial insurance premiums from £5k upwards to circa £200k
Forge relationships with clients from a wide range of commercial industries from Manufacturing, Leisure, Haulage, Media, Property, Construction and many other sectors
Book appointments, producing leads, meeting clients to conduct risk assessments, market presentations and negotiating with underwriters
Prepare monthly and annual sales forecasts, targets, plans and budgets for your prospective sales area
Work within an established and successful team of insurance professionals, where you will have a designated Account Handler to help manage your day-to-day affairs
Comply with FSA regulations
Meet clients on on site regularly, building lasting relationships
Candidate Requirements
Will have previous experience within a brokerage operating within a new business development or client service role, seeking to further your career
Ideally be Cert CII / Dip Insurance qualified - although not a prerequisite
A superior knowledge of insurance with the ability to liaise with senior management and directors with ease
Must have ability to develop lasting client relationships and driven to achieve within your career
