Interesting role for a skilled software developer with Java / J2EE and C++ experience to join a company who are leading the banking industry in implementing distributed computing application.
Grid computing is the way forward and is rapidly being adopted by the Investment banks. You role would be to help the banks adopt our clients technology.
You will be involved in speaking with companies throughout the adoption process- from the initial proof of concept and presentations, through design, to resolving detailed technical implementation challenges.
This is an interesting and varied role, and there is some scope to travel and work with clients in mainland Europe if desired.
Technically you should be skilled at developing and implementing systems in both Java and C++ You should also be very familiar with some of the following- C#, .Net, Unix, Web services and Middleware / EAI .
A knowledge of investment banking - especially Derivatives, Credit Derivatives, Calypso, Murex, Summit, or Monte Carlo is advantageous. More IT jobs at IITJobs.
