Supply Chain Manager - Arabic Speaking - Jeddah - Merthyr

Supply Chain Manager Arabic Speaking Procurement Asset Management Supply Support South Wales - Jeddah KSA Mecca

My client has an urgent requirement for an Arabic speaking Supply Chain Manager for a 12 month contract based between Jeddah KSA and South Wales.
The client project is linked to the Mecca expansion project and requires an experienced Supply Chain manager to work in Mecca on an Ad-Hoc basis.
The successful Supply Chain Manager will be responsible for Procurement, Asset Management, Supply Support and Warehousing of technical equipment for the project.
The Supply Chain Manager will be responsible for leading a small team in order to carry out this function.

Skills and experience required:

Demonstrable experience as Supply Chain Manager
Skilled to manage a whole Supply Chain for the programme with experience and evidence of success in the areas of:
Procurement Supporting purchasing of all equipment for the programme to gain value for money working closely with business partners
Warehouse Providing support to warehouse management and delivery of equipment on time
Asset Management Supporting full management of assets by serial number throughout the supply chain.
Supply Support Supporting spares, repairs and warranty returns from the business and customers to the OEMs and Suppliers
Must be excellent communicator with ability to work closely with customer, in country partner and suppliers as well as the companies diverse team
Must have a background in continuous improvement, ideally with evidence of lean six sigma type improvement activity
Experience managing an oversees supply chain operation is highly desirable
Considerable financial management skills (past P&L responsibility - desirable)
An engineering background and/or education is desirable
The ability to speak Arabic is essential for this role
