Tata Projects are a multi-disciplinary design and engineering business comprising professional engineers, architects, surveyors and project delivery specialists across a number of market sectors including rail, industrial, energy and off-site solutions.
We are now looking for Engineers as both support and at senior level to assist the Principal Engineer in all activities associated with the survey and design of level crossings to current standards. In these roles you will assist in site surveys, as well prepare level crossing ground plans and design logs when appropriate. The attendance of client and stakeholder meetings will be required all to e nsure delivery to quality, cost and time requirements as defined by the Principal Engineer.
The Senior Engineer in particular will lead a small team of engineers to ensure effective design and delivery of client contracts as well as identify appropriate improvements to in processes and staff development.
The ideal candidates will ideally have experience in designing level crossings and have Chartered Engineer status. Knowledge of Microstation, engineering design and construction principles is essential, as is extensive experience of designing and checking level crossing design plans. The Senior Engineer will also need to have previous experience in a similar role including programme and budget management, commercial understanding and meeting delivery targets effectively.
