To be responsible for achieving and delivering utilities inline with project milestone dates to enable our clients's Capital Investment programme to be constructed. This will require the role holder to:

Apply for and manage all Utilities requirements for Power and Telecommunications relating to capital Projects. Manage the performance of our Framework Supplier of Power connections and provide appropriate challenge to ensure appropriate and efficient solutions.

Engage with all parties responsible for delivering utility solutions to site, including meter operators, Power companies and SW Framework Suppliers

To protect the reputation of our client by providing professional advice and support to Construction Managers and others ensuring that all teams working on the Capital Investment programme understand and comply with all legislation and procedures relating to utilities.

Implementation of proactive management, challenging key Power and telecom Providers to foreshorten programme timescales within contractual Framework agreements, Service Level Agreements and legislative (Electricity Act) constraints to ensure earliest possible delivery of key project outputs

Co-ordinate all project utilities issues and act as a liaison on these with the project team.

To establish and maintain good relationships with Power Companies, Meter Operators, Electricity and Communications Suppliers and contractors both client managed and third party

Keep accurate records of all utility requests, approvals and progress costs and highlight and record risks to achieving power and telecoms to the sites.

Educated to HNC or Degree or equivalent.

Ability to manage individual workload in line with Programme milestones

Able to demonstrate good organisational and interpersonal skills.

IT literate to a high degree.
