Main Purpose of the Role
As a Mechanical Engineer your job role will be within a dynamic design team who provide manufacturing technical support to the production department. The equipment you will be working with would be hydraulic, mechanical, structural and computer based components for a market leading special purpose machinery manufacturer.
The Person
You should be flexible and dynamic in your approach, and bring energy and drive to your work. Key requirements are;
- Degree Qualified/HNC Mechanical
- Solidworks
- Design for manufacture
- Able to carry out design calculations
Key Responsibilities
- Design and modification of new products
- Modelling of complex parts and assemblies
- Production of detailed drawings and assembly drawings in Solidworks
- Analysis of equipment involving stress, mechanism, hydraulic, drive systems etc.
- Hand calculations and FEA
Salary and Benefits
£45-50k + private healthcare, pension, relocation
Salary dependent on experience: DAYS, MONDAY TO FRIDAY
