THE ROLE: Market Analyst
THE SALARY PACKAGE: £25,000 to £30,000
THE LOCATION: Presteigne, Powys, Wales or Stockport. Cheshire

THE ROLE: Do you enjoy analysing complex data, assessing market trends, and identifying new business opportunities? You'll be part of a team focused on driving new sales across the business. You'll employ a multi-dimensional approach to lead generation, utilising routes such as research, customer and prospect data, and quality market analysis in order to drive informed decision-making across the business.

Candidate Profile

• Educated to degree level ideally in statistics or maths, ideally with experience of working within a Sales / Marketing department
• Strong organisational skills
• Very strong Excel skills
• Ability to communicate insight and technical information to a business audience
• Experience in manipulating and utilising data
• Keen eye for detail and strong analytical skills when analysing complex data
• Confidence to present to, and influence, senior stakeholders
• Ability to work in to tight deadlines
• Ideally fluent in another European language (French, German, Spanish or Italian) but not essential

Role Responsibility:

• Modelling and analysing data to drive sales activities
• Coordinating all elements of data segmentation
• Providing insight into target markets
• Assessing market trends based on analysis of the market database, understanding sales and buying trends
• Researching market conditions or changes in the industry that may affect sales
• Undertaking market scoping exercises to identify additional sales opportunities
• Monitoring and assessing market and competitor activity
• Assessing current pipeline against market opportunities to inform sales resourcing and focus for campaigns.
