Trust Fundraising Officer , International Development Charity, London
Fantastic opportunity for a Trust Fundraising Officer to join this great award winning International Development Charity in West London . Working as part of a close-knit fundraising and broader charity team you need not have fundraising experience yet but are keen to develop a career in Fundraising. You will work with the Trusts Fundraising Manager on an existing portfolio of Trusts and Foundations as well as establishing new relationships in the UK and Overseas and will assist in driving, developing and implementing their overall Trust and Foundations strategy and fundraising plans to generate an increase in grants from these funding streams. Responsibilities include managing prospect research and applications and reporting requirements. Of graduate calibre or equivalent practical experience, you may possibly have some professional fundraising experience in Trusts but more important is a positive and proactive attitude and a couple of years of working in a busy organisation as well as excellent communication skills both written and verbal (this really goes without saying!). Confident and engaging, you will really enjoy working in this fun team and for this fantastic cause. Excellent numeracy as well as good IT skills (including Access or other databases) are essential as is a creative yet analytical approach. Salary dependent upon experience c£25000 + benefits .
