We are looking for experienced residential childcare practitioners to join a new Children's Home. This new Home is the second to be developed, introducing models from a social pedagogy framework. We therefore require highly motivated staff who are able to demonstrate a genuine enthusiasm and commitment to group-living and residential care. Heartwood is also seeking to add to its dedicated transitions worker staff group, as more transition services are in development. You will be expected to work with young people who may have difficult/complex need, safeguarding or social issues. We support young people aged 16-18 and develop life skills to enable independence. Successful applicants are required to provide an enhanced disclosure. Disclosure expense will be met by employer.
