DBFS have an opportunity for a Senior C++ Developer to join the
core development group of a High Frequency Trading house based in
Central London. The successful candidate will be responsible for
developing & maintaining our client's high performance
algorithmic trading platform. This role will work on high
performance exchange connectivity & the related
infrastructure.
Responsibilities include:
Migrating existing exchange connectivity to the new performance
optimized platform
Design & develop the connectivity to new exchanges
Benchmark and fine tune the critical software services to
achieve optimum performance & the latency levels
Interact directly with the quantitative developers and traders,
specifically capturing business requirements & to help resolve
technical problems.
Collaborate with research and development team to research new
& innovative technologies, as well as being responsible for
integrating these technologies into the client's production
environment
Candidate Qualifications:
Excellent C++ programming skills in a Linux environment
Strong experience designing multi threaded applications
Strong understanding of exchange protocol's
Background of working with middlewares
Exceptional knowledge of networks and operating systems
It would be highly beneficial for candidates to have previously
worked within the High Frequency or Prop Trading space
previously.
Basic salary is £100,000 to £150,000 + excellent bonus &
benefits package
