The Admissions Testing Service offers a range of admissions tests and bespoke services to universities, government ministries and professional organisations around the world. We are seeking two experienced Product Managers to lead on and work on business change initiatives and to provide expert project management for new strategic operation projects which require new operational systems and processes or the development of existing systems in order to deliver against project objectives. This will involve working with stakeholders in carrying out business analysis, understanding detailed business processes and managing change projects.
The job-holders will be educated to degree level, be very comfortable with technology, and be able to demonstrate that they can pick up complex software applications with ease. They will have considerable project management experience and should also have experience of providing training/teaching, and customer support. Knowledge of software systems development and user acceptance testing is also desirable.
An ability to communicate effectively with users at all ability levels in a diplomatic manner is essential, as is being able to understand new applications quickly and transfer that information to end users efficiently, both verbally and in the form of written materials.
The job-holders will have excellent customer focus and organisational skills and be able to handle multiple projects and to work under pressure to demanding deadlines. In addition they must have outstanding verbal and written skills, demonstrate attention to detail and be able to make important decisions in addition to working well in a team environment. The ability to come up with creative solutions to difficult and complex problems is necessary, as is the ability to see the customer’s perspective. An understanding of examination and assessment processes would be useful but not essential.
