WRVS is a charity dedicated to helping older people to stay active and independent though the support of our volunteers. At a local community level we deliver personal and practical support, making a difference to the lives of 100,000 older people every month. Following the introduction of our new integrated service delivery model we are creating a nationwide network of Community Hubs; each managed by a Locality Manager responsible for embedding new ways of working and developing new opportunities for us to support a greater number of older people.
The Locality Manager will be responsible for a varied portfolio of WRVS services across the Community Hub area and will act as an ambassador for WRVS by networking and partnering with other organisations to ensure that complementary services meet the needs of older people in the community.
We are looking to recruit Locality Managers in the following hubs:
East Lancashire, West Lancashire and
Lancaster
Leeds and York
Manchester Central,
South, North & Stockport
Cheshire East, Cheshire West and Wirral
If you are interested in applying for these roles you will need to be able to demonstrate a proven track record in service user or volunteer engagement and an ability to communicate with and influence people. You will be computer literate.
