This is a fantastic opportunity for an Infrastructure Architect
with experience of publishing systems to join a leading Media
company based in Central London.
The Infrastructure Architect will perform a key role within the
business, you will act as a leader and be accountable for the
guidance and direction of other architects, and members of the
technology team. As well as in a hands-on capacity, producing
architecture deliverables personally. Proven experience in the
design and implementation of publishing systems is essential, as is
the ability to solve complex existing infrastructures.
The successful Infrastructure Architect will be passionate about
the industry, and use this passion to communicate with
stakeholders, stay ahead of trends, and ensure best practices are
adopted across the team. You will have experience working in an
agile environment as well as familiarity with ITIL.
To be successful as an Infrastructure Architect you will
have:
Agile environment and ITIL knowledge
Worked with both Windows and Linux/Unix infrastructures
Storage knowledge, including SAN, NAS, DAS and Flash Cache.
Exposure to SalesForce or Google AppEngine or Amazon EC2
Virtualisation technologies and techniques
Security and Firewall implementation
Beneficial experience for this role:
Previous experience with Publishing systems
