The company is a privately owned and well capitalised high frequency prop group that was established in 2010. There are around 40 people in the firm, (60% are tech, 30% Quant Researchers / Traders and 10% admin). The firm has an office in New York and Central London and specialises in liquidity provision and high frequency prop. We are looking for a futures trader to join the London office within a collaborative high frequency statistical arbitrage / relative group.
The role will involve researching prototyping, strategies, running simulations, back-tests, building models and working with technologists to get strategies in production. You will be responsible for trade optimisation, calibration of live strategies and scaling strategies to different exchanges. You don’t need to bring a strategy, we are looking for skill and experience in high frequency futures trading, rather than a plug and play algorithm. Requirements Pedigree: Looking for strong education (quantitative subject) from a leading university.
(2-7) years of relevant industry experience in high frequency futures trading or automated market making from a leading firm. Strong technical skills (we don’t want a programmer but you will need to use Python, R, Matlab. for research and the ability to read C++ will be useful. Experience researching and analysing futures tick data.
