Be Warned
Dont Employ (Current Employee), World Wide – April 6, 2013
Cons: lie through there teeth
This company operates a don't employ list which is global, so don't go annoying any of your colleagues or management as you could land up on it and because they are linked with web based recruitment it also goes to companies that use the same recruitment search.

Independent, fast-paced and flexible workplace. Laxed management and not much direction.
Electrical CAD Technician (Current Employee), Reading, PA – March 15, 2013
Pros: in house cafeteria, flexible schedule, friendly atmosphere
Cons: love autocad but don't enjoy the work i do most of the time
I log onto my computer, review emails, and look over work I need to start for that day. Management is usually available via communicator but is usually visibly non-existent. There isn't much direction therefore you need to be in control and able to figure out things on my own. Engineers distribute the work to me and are usually available for questions.
The – more... most difficult part of my day is being in one place. Although I love my job, sitting down for long periods can be very tiresome.
What i enjoy mostly about my day is communicating with my co-workers. We all bond together like a family and help another when we know something they don't. Its very helpful being able to mesh ideas among a few people to come up with the best solution. It also helps having fellow CAD Techs in case theres a command we don't know. I've learned quite a bit more over the last two years because everybody has different ways of doing things. – less

A growing company that may be growing too fast
Project Administrator (Former Employee), Houston, TX – February 5, 2013
Pros: benefits
Cons: management
Professionally speaking, WorleyParsons is a great place to grow with a growing company. If one is in a support role, a support role is all one will ever have. The supervisors tend to favor a few (which, I guess is normal in most companies) and does not stand behind their employees. The Human Resources department has a lot to be desired as they are unorganized – more... and are too busy covering their tracks as opposed to employee friendly.

WorleyParsons has great benefits and from a corporate view does try to offer their employees an enjoyable work environment (i.e., flex hours, 4-10 work schedule). From a local viewpoint, they are still stuck in the "80s - we've always done it like this" mentality. – less
