Fast Paced Work
Warehouse operative (Former Employee), Witham – March 19, 2013
Pros: had opportunity to do overtimes
Cons: management do not respect workers
Easy but fast paced job. I have not learned much there, most of the values and things I picked up in jobs I have done before. Management is poor and lack understanding of work. Team was great, we had great fun and I have made good contacts there. The hardest part was cutting the cable, but at the same time I enjoyed it most.

Bad Bad Bad !!!!!
Sales Representative (Former Employee), Netherlands – June 14, 2013
Terrible management with absolutely no respect for their employees and customers. They care only about results (guess their bonusses depend on it) and do not care about the satisfaction of customers and employees. Management does not speak with employees but ignores them. No idea how they expect 100% motivation and commitment. So if you would like to – more... be treated like a dog, go join the Tyco kennel !!! I am glad I have left this madhouse and if you ever consider to work for them, think twice before you make your choice. – less

Looking for a company that takes pride in being innovated and team oriented.
Supply Chain Purchasing Buyer/Admin Assistant (Former Employee), Menlo Park, CA – June 12, 2013
Pros: na
Cons: na
A typical day for me would be making sure my planner is well organized and prioritized. It allows me to utilize my time wisely and helps me in making sure nothing gets missed. I've learned throughout the years that we can't depend on our memory. My Coworkers always know me as the person that's willing to help others and find pride in teaching others. – more... The hardest part as a buyer is working with people overseas due to the time difference. The most enjoyable part is working with Development, Operations, and Engineering staff. They are great to work with and find an interest in new technology. – less

Pros: flex scheduling
Cons: taken lunches
Management had problems with the gay community. One of the co-workers was humility bc of his sexuality. He was told to apply for team lead and than taken from him by management only to be told by another manager it was bc he was gay. He was a good worker and mentor.

Assistant Engineering (Former Employee), Lowell, ma – June 3, 2013
A was a great place to work because of my commute. My commute was only 10 to 15 minutes. I learned designing prototype units for customers. Management were very fear and I always felt they treated me good. Co-workers were very easy to get alone with. The hardest part of this job was the dead lines sometimes I got to finish the job. The most enjoyable – more... part was the flexibility I had to take my vacations. – less

Think about working here.
Sales (Former Employee), Vancouver – May 18, 2013
Pros: some management understood the big picture
Cons: no loyalty, life work balance
The salary is OK if you are not looking for long term employment. Some management was Great but the DGM for my location was short sited and did not value loyalty or hard work and no vision.

My immediate supervisor was GREAT one of the best people I ever worked for. The team was ALSO A GREAT bunch of people and didn't deserve the GM.

This location – more... also has gone through several GMs over the years and the this one was by far the worst. Questionable ethics too..... – less

Injection Molding Machine Operator (Former Employee), Greensboro, NC – April 12, 2013
Pros: the pay
Cons: bad management, having to watch your back all the time
If you are college educated then Tyco is not the place to waste your time with thinking you will go far because you will not! There is a very serious buddy system here. No one does all of their job duties. Micro-Vu persons does not do their checks. If you are educated and real good at catching bad parts then everyone will have it in for you and will – more... try and get you fired! – less
