I loved working in Thomas Pink. Its a great company, with a great salary. I learned alot about customer service in the more up-market retail end. Training on product was excellent, i was fully trained on all the products, down to what they were made of and how.

Make sales and provide good customer service, You learn how do deal with people and enquiries in a professional manner. Work with a small team in a large department store.

Working with my current employer has allowed me to perfect my customer service skills to a luxury ettiquite standard, going the extra mile for a customer has become the norm, I have also learnt to deal with complaints calmely and effectively.

Currently learning the "ins and outs"of daily duties of a Marketing/PR department. I am responsible for assisting the Marketing and PR assistant with their daily duties and responsibilities. Duties include fulfilling PR sample requests/returns, event planning, organization of samples, research for manger and assistant, daily errands to the Flagship – more... store on Madison ave, and many more duties. There is never one day in Marketing/PR that is the same, and I like that. I love the people I work with, and the fast-paced environment of communications is something I found out early on I absolutely love. – less
