Average firm
Audit (Current Employee), London – April 22, 2013
Pros: good clients, colleagues are friendly, nice offices in baker street
Cons: negative feelings of management shared by many colleagues
Not a bad firm overall but something is clearly missing. Too many people come and go, colleagues continually complain about not being given opportunities then (justifiably) complain when it's high pressured work for clients and senior managers expect unreasonable results. Strong feelings shared by colleagues that "this is a temporary career move, I – more... plan on heading to the big four in a few years". – less

Hard work and very pressurising
Regional Marketing Manager (Former Employee), Nottingham, Birmingham, Leicester & Milton Keynes – February 24, 2013
Pros: salary, car and benefits package
Cons: no support staff and long hours
A typical day at work would consist of a very early start, email run through before getting to the office in case of any immediate alerts or problems that may face me during the day. Things changed on a daily basis within RSM Tenon.
I would travel to whichever of the four offices i managed, and begin with a basic run through of the weeks activities – more... with either the marketing executive who reported into me, or the specific partner in question for whichever service line I happened to be managing that day, i.e. Tax, Advisory, Audit etc.
I would spend a day coordinating campaigns, analyzing performance data, attending meetings, managing advertising content and event correspondence, as well as delegating time to respond to emails on a regular basis. My day would end around 6pm. As there were only three marketeers to cover the midlands region (including me), I would then work at home until 11pm (approx) each day to continue email correspondance in order to get ahead for the next day. My area was extremely under-staffed and extremely pressuring. But extremely rewarding with salary. – less

Friendly place to work
support staff (Former Employee), London – January 29, 2013
Pros: free hot drinks, summer party / christmas party
Too many changes with staff & locations.. always someone being made redundant or leaving... I never felt my job was safe, and was proven correct by being made redundant! In general though was a reasonably good place to work.

Structured but enjoyable workplace
Insolvency cashier (Former Employee), Manchester city Centre – November 11, 2012
Pros: nice office environment
Cons: lack of a staff room
Downloading and processing debtors daily contributions via CMS (virtual RBS a/c) and IFS (virtual Barclays a/c) and Card contributions, closing old Bank Accounts. Processing (DMP Fees) Debt Management payments. Raising DTI & MOC Invoices. Recording and processing debtors cheque contributions. Dividend payouts & opening new accounts.
A very good management – more... team, helpful and approachable.
A great team of co-workers
The hardest part of the job is balancing the daily contributions and the most enjoyable part of the job is when the daily contributions balance. – less

Productive and very motivated.
Trainee Administrator (Current Employee), Manchester – October 19, 2012
Working at RSM Tenon I have met some amazing people and learnt how to work in an office environment, how IVA's work and how to deal with clients and other companies.
Management is always at hand although working on the administrating team we managed most of the work load to meet deadlines and work as a team.
The hardest part of working at RSM Tenon – more... would have to be the work load, meeting deadlines and having to work at a fast pace whilst paying attention to detail so no mistakes are made.
The job is very motivated and everyone is always willing to help when possible. – less

Trainee Administrator
Trainee Administrator (Current Employee), Manchester – October 7, 2012
Sorting through the post, sending Annual Reports, requesting documents from the clients, answering calls.
I have learned basic Administration skills.
Good management, and Co-workers.
The hardest part of the job, was the volume of work we are expected to get through in one day.
The most enjoyable part of the job is being able to organise and complete – more... the task given. – less
