I receive and deliver incoming packages via UPS, FedEx and USPS throughout the day. Complete copy jobs for customers in a timely manner. Co-workers are pleasant to work with. Management has its ups and downs. The onsite manager was enjoyable and very flexible.

Well Balanced Company
Site Supervisor (Current Employee), Springfield – May 3, 2013
Pros: great benefits, employee recognition
Cons: not a great pay grade
Ricoh is a well balanced company, and their managed services department is thoughtful and internally and externally customer oriented. They have many great programs geared toward employee development and have great benefits.

A typical day at work in the managed services division is going to a customer site, processing orders, and providing intertnal – more... and external support.

The hardest part of the job is maintaing a balance between internal and external sources. On one hand you work for Ricoh and need to make sure that you are being fair and profitable to them, but on the other hand to maintain a profitable and working relationship with the customer you have to make use of innovation and strategics.

The most enjoyable part of the job is customer satisfaction and employee recognition. Seeing the joy within the customers when you produce their work in a timely and accurate manner is wonderful. In addtion, Ricoh is comprised with a great employee recognition program and your hard work does not go unnoticed. – less

A job
Senior On-Site Specialist (Current Employee), New Kensington, PA – April 16, 2013
Pros: monday thru friday 8am-5pm with holiday's off & vacation and benefits.
Cons: micro-managing is very evident.
You are in an often placed in a hectic situation due to the lack of work coverage if a call off occurs, or asomeone quits. Seems to take forever to replace an employee. You are really stretched to your limits daily, but it's better than flipping burgers or bagging groceries! If you don't mind being micro-managed, this is the job for you.

Stay the hell away from Ricoh
ASM (Former Employee), Manhattan, NY – April 15, 2013
Pros: trick you to work for them
Cons: company lies and do call outs when they don't have work!!
Ricoh should have never bought Ikon because ricoh put over 100,000 people out of work, and most of these people can't find other jobs because of their age( Ex. 49 to 54 ) and this was so unfair, do they ( ricoh ) care that after the unemployment and servant's package is over the people are ( most) are in serious trouble. Ricoh s--ted on a lot of people – more... and the management is just so bad that words don't cover it!!!
God is powerful and we will over come this nightmare from ricoh!!!!! Ricoh standard is bs and the company is a pack of lies!!! – less

Great Job Opertunity
Hardware Engineer Intern (Former Employee), Boulder, CO – April 9, 2013
It was great to work for them during a summer intern opportunity. Wish I could have stayed on longer or got a full time job. Last couple of years they have went through some lay offs of senior personnel though.

A growing company
Shipping Specialist (Former Employee), Lincolnshire, IL – April 5, 2013
Ricoh is a growing company. It handles everything to do with documents with the exception of creating the original document. From copies to shipping and receiving to storage Ricoh has somebody to fit the job.
This can lead to great bosses like my first boss at Ricoh who was the manager in charge of mail, shipping, receiving and office supplies at a major – more... company.
It can also lead to bosses like my manager after I was promoted. This one's experience was primarily in the field of reprographics with little experience in my field of shipping and receiving. This eventually led to one problem two many.
Be careful and size up your boss just as most as he is sizing you up. If you don't you will be sorry in the long run. – less

STAY AWAY
AE (Former Employee), MI – April 2, 2013
Pros: a check
Cons: top to bottom from oakland to orlando
Not even worth an interview. This company is to cumbersome to handle 2013 and beyond. Whole company from top to bottom has no idea of what is around the next corner. Lots of lies and zero follow through from higher level support. You might as well be a telemarketer. This company promises alot and delivers little. Also commission is a joke and car allowance – more... is barely anything. I had 4 territories in 14 months. Monthly forecasts are a laugh, also their CRM is just a mirco manage tool.
Its a high school drama fest everyday as well. Company has lost true sense of direction. Their a dinosaur trying to go in 10 places at once never reaching any of them. Company is a joke!!! – less

Great Training
Document Specialist Clerk (Former Employee), Atlanta, GA – March 25, 2013
The managers train their staff on many different machines that the employee will be using throughout the day. This is a really good place to be if you want to learn the business of being a document specialist.

Little Advancement, Decent Benefits
Site Supervisor (Current Employee), Pittsburgh, PA – March 23, 2013
Pros: good benefits, good co-workers, job stability
Cons: low pay, no raises, no advancement
The company is trying to progress forward from just document management, but they're struggling to do so. The message and future goals change every month and management struggles to keep up with everything. Co-workers are decent for the most part, but some of the long timers are a bit depressing.

It's a stable job for the most part, but the pay is – more... very low an don't expect any yearly reviews or raises. Most of the work is mind numbing if you don't work in sales and if you do work in sales, they bleed you to the bone. Promotions are hard to come by. All of the employees try hard, but it's a flagging company. – less
