With the large volumes of data that has to be worked through, you learn how to prioritize and divide your day in such a manner as to review every part of the task at hand as not to miss any important data. I have learned over the past few years how to communicate to my team and the client on a corporate level. Was hired for new position.
Manager had vague idea of what my position would entail.
When given assignements, they were not clear and manager failed to fully explain what she wanted done.
Actually repremanded for doing too much due to lack of communication.
Told things moved fast with company but not provided with proper expectations.

My typical day at work is data review, trainings.
I have learned to manage my time, pay attention to detail. And produce quality work. I have also learned to work under pressure and put the customer first.
The money is not enought for the amount of work we do.
Themost enjoyable part is the culture at Quintiles and the technology is up to date.

Lead business analsyt for Drug Safety IT. Elicit requirements, lead requirement management meetings, mentor other business analysts, document application configurations.

I work with our safety business, developers, testers, and subject matter experts to put together requirments packages for Drug Safety IT systems at Quintiles. I have worked both for – more... our external customers as well as the internal customer business.

I mentor junior business analysts to help them understand the business processes as well as set the standards for our group in terms of requirements documentation best practices.

I enjoy working with people to undertand the business and translate their needs into IT applications and solutions. I feel good accomplishing projects and delivering a business benefit to the stakeholders. – less

Good place to begin your job or if you enjoy the flexibility of continuously changing jobs managers and territories. It takes a person that craves change and to a certain extent instability. Overall the compensation pack and management teams made up for the security issues.

My employment with Quintiles was on a contract basis for 18+ mos.
They have quite a few initiatives for work/life balance. I telecommute for 2 days and worked in the office 3 days.

Expectations were eight calls a day with two pharmacy calls as well.
Manager was great.
Co-workers were mostly great.
Most difficult part of the job was managing two of everything. Two email, two, data bases, two reporting systems, etc.
Most enjoyable part of position was my territory and the doctors as well as staff I know so well.

Great place to start up with Pharma sales. I got to work for a very large pharma company and learn from some of the best in industry. Had over 120 doctors on my call list and was expected to make 8 calls a day. It is a very hard working but pleasurable job.

You have to be ready for whatever may happen and have the ability to be calm in a time of crisis. Then adapt back to a normal work flow after the crisis.

Working for Quintiles was rewarding. They offer many benefits and rewards for hard working individuals.

The dificult part of the job is you face a unknown challenge every day, every month, every quarter...I think this keeps you on your toes every day 24X7....Challenges are the life boold here..

All work done according to ICH GCP, EMEA and FDA regulations and regulatory inspections done on a regular basis.

I enjoyed my position and the all of the Sales Team. I had the opportunity to work with a very open minded and appreciative Vice President.

It is a large company, but enjoyed most of my co-workers and always meeting new people.
