Horrific
Crane super (Former Employee), Dublin – December 15, 2012
Cons: dangerously dedicated ladder climbing middle management
430 am starts,in tower crane,chains on ground,22.00 finish time for 28 days,great money earner,ad I was self employed
Extremely dangerous attitude to H&S,bullying types of middle management, with agricultural attitudes enveloped in a bizarre sub contractor type behaviour in tendering for work
Not recommended
Dangerous
Incompetent
Vain

Production Operative (Former Employee), Worksop – June 14, 2012
Pros: good pension scheme. lots of training. hr department very good
Cons: changing of shifts at very short notice
Seems to be a lot of management to report to. The company overall is very good. Lower Management team do lack in people skills.
The job found to be very easy, and was made more interesting with having good co-workers.
Enjoyed the training courses.

Not a good place to work
Project Controls (Former Employee), Brisbane, Qld – May 3, 2013
Run by cowboys where your efforts are not recognised, only who in the zoo you are in favour with. I persevered with the organisation for about 18 months, but finally could not take anymore. Would not recommend this organisation

Productive and fun place, some times free breakfest.
ES&H Adviser (Current Employee), Gladstone – December 23, 2012
Pros: all management staff are issued with a car and a phone
Cons: communication could be better. no other cons.
You can plan your own day, Bussy, but never overworked. I have learned to use some usefull tools. Management is approachable, and cooperative. Some of the colegues are non communicative, but I think that is a personal issue with them. Hardest part of the job was: You clamp down on Safety, and at the end there is nothing to write in your report. The – more... most enjoyable part of the job is hearing the next day the result of your efforts – less

Pros: employees welfare and safety given priority

I love to work for Laing O'Rourke. The company is top at partiality which the top management might not know and the management lacks in identifying the best and the cheats among its work force.

Scaffolding Supervisor (Former Employee), Western Australia – May 14, 2012
Enjoy working with people learning different cultures. My goal working with company's is to communicate with management and co-workers and to work safely together. Understand peoples problems or issues that arise on the day and keep focus on a day to day basis. I like to complete my scope of work on time and work with people who thinks and share the – more... same responsibility as a group like and old saying goes two heads are better then one. – less
