A day in the life of a internacionale manager
Store Manager (Current Employee), Kings Lynn – April 28, 2013
Pros: good progression oppertunities
Cons: not many benefits for males
First things first you have to be a very committed, energetic and enthusiastic person to work at Internacionale as its a fast paced environment with great benefits if you knuckle down and work hard.
I've learned that in this very competitive market its about providing a great service with something different to offer the customer.

No real structure or training. Very stop and start
Assistant Manager (Former Employee), Scotland – March 2, 2013
Pros: discount was good, and was much better that everyone got the same discount as it was previously tiered!
Cons: lack of structure, support, no training
I moved to the company for a second time, after promises of a 'new, improved culture' targeted at customer service, and a better balance. I found within the first few weeks not much had changed in the 2 years I was absent. Promises of being sent away for training, career development were all false unfortunately. I was quite disappointed at the lack – more... of communication between management and senior management. If I was asked to do it over again, I would say no. – less

A great and fun place to work!
sales assistant (Former Employee), cramlington, northumberland. – January 28, 2013
Pros: fantastic team to work for, the shop was a very close walking distance to my home.
Cons: the rota not being done in good time advance.
A typical day we would be all assinged to do differnt duties on the rota, so one day i would be on fitting room duties,or on the till, or in the store room sorting out replenishments or sorting out new stock when the deliveries came in.
I learned a great deal in merchandising and how to put outfits together,i enjoyed dealing with the display windows, – more... dressing the mannequins.
I cant praise my management and co workers enough, professional and friendly, who i still continue to socialise with in my spare time.
The hardest part of the job was when we had a deadline for a sale launch for eg, and the store typically would be manic!
Customer service is what i enjoyed most, I always made sure the customers felt good about their choices of goods, helping them in any way possible, plus i was good at selling 'add ons', eg, shoes that would match outfit, or a bag that would match shoes. – less

Review
Sales assistant (Former Employee), milton keynes – September 22, 2012
Pros: friendly workplace, motivation
Cons: n/a
A typical day at work would be to clock in. All the staff members starting on the same shift would meet in the staff room for a 'brief.' This was given as a guide to what we would need to aim for and achieve profit wise. Each member would then be allocated to an area of the workplace. This would be our responsibility for the shift. As this was the customers – more... last point of the visit, being allocated to the till area would consist of serving the customers with a friendly attitude to entise them back for a future visit. It would also consist of keeping the area clean and tidy.
Being allocated to the front of the store, would consist of greeting the customers as they walked into the store and ensured they knew you were on hand to help if and when they needed. It would also consist of keeping that area of the shop clean and tidy, and occasionally restocking. – less

Good part time job
Supervisor (Current Employee), Ayr – August 13, 2012
Pros: good staff discount
Cons: poor staff motivation
It is a good job, staff are all nice, training is lacking because it is a smaller store, and positive reinforcement and bonuses are not offered. I am able to cash up work the tills systems complete product analysis and best sellers, organise the staff and take deliveries and send off faulty items. here is a large staff discount, however you are expected – more... to buy your own uniform and no allowance is provided. – less

Interesting and engaging
Sales Assistant (Former Employee), Scunthorpe – August 12, 2012
Pros: free refreshments
Cons: long hours
A typical day for me at work would be; I would greet my colleagues, start greeting customers, maintaining appearance of premises, packing, stocking, helping and advising customers.

I developed and gained vital skills, and learnt to maintain a friendly manner as customers are a priority in business.

My co-workers were very friendly, helpful and easy – more... to work in a successful team.

The hardest part of the job was maintaining the high standard of the changing rooms for the first day, but I managed to control and maintain the upright standards quickly and effectively.

The most enjoyable part of the job was to deliver customers service, and the benefits of the sales, as I developed my skills, gained knowledge of daily basis of customer service. – less
