Senior Sales Associate (Former Employee), El Centro, CA – May 3, 2013
Pros: good high quality product
Cons: poor working environment and pay plan among other many issues.
Management contradicts one another, they do not want employees to have more hours on the clock than schedule but would ask the employees to work with out beeing on the clock. I could go on for ever, but these are just some examples of very poor management and decision making managers, not to mention harrasment by Senior management.
Accounts Payable/Receivable and Billing Agent (Current Employee), Grand Blanc, MI – April 24, 2013
I enjoyed working at Honda when I first started but when I got to know the management I slowly started not liking it. Very dishonest. I was offered a higher position with a raise the day I started and a 2nd raise after 60days of being in that position. When I approached my boss about my raise he laughed at me. The company isnt large enough to be giving – more... raises out. I therefore told him I can no longer work for them without a raise. I am a single mom and need to be making good money. Though I am very thankful for some of the things I have learned while working there. I will not work for liars and people who do not look out for their employees. – less
It was a very productive atmosphere, and I was able to learn much.
Receptionist/Cashier (Former Employee), Hoffman Estates, IL – March 21, 2013
Pros: the management treated the employees to free lunches once per week.
Cons: the position was terminated because of the decline in the economy.
A typical day included routine office work and interacting with customers, co-workers, venders and salesmen. I enjoyed working with my co-workers, and the management was very professional and courteous. The hardest part of the job was recording the auto transaction information in the police log (manually) while keeping up with answering the phones at – more... night, due to the detailed work involved. The most enjoyable part of the job was working with other people. – less

Production Associate (Former Employee), Alliston, Ontario, Canada – January 23, 2013
Pros: good pay, benefits, product discounts
Cons: management, unscrupulous company policies, excessive control over employees
Work is extremely repetitive but makes the day go by faster. At times the work can be physically demanding which may result in repetitive stress injuries. Co-workers are your average "blue Collar" type which were easy to get along with. Washroom breaks are documented and no sitting is permitted during core work time.
Learned how to work as a team, – more... quality control and be highly productive... to the point that keeping up with "the line" can be difficult for some people.
Management for the most part are uneducated people who have been trained to follow and enforce company policies. It's not uncommon for management when confronted on a policy to "make it up" in favour of management. Upon employee disciplinary action, don't expect ANY copies of any documents. If you're legitimately sick and require time off or require sick benefits for medical issues/time off, you're flagged by the company which may result in no job advancement and being put on "coach / counselling" for attendance.
Cons: the long walk from the parking lot to the other side of the plant.
Working 3rd shift was tough but, i was able to work with my wife so, the time went by fast. The staff was friendly and informative. The hardest part of the job was when i would have to squeeze between the robots to clean.

Pros: they had a cafe for lunch if you didnt bring your own.
Cons: breaks are real short and they should be longer
Its a fun place to work. Its just you got to get up 3 hours before your shift started to make it on time for work. And if theres an accident on the highway. You will be waiting for hours before its cleared. I learned how to put items on cars. My co-workers was very nice. And the day went by fast.
