Don't Work for Everest
Sales Representative. (Former Employee), North Wales – February 13, 2013
Pros: fresh air and free coffee
Cons: no pay
Everest will tell you that the laws do not apply to you as you are 'self employed'. THIS IS A LIE!
You are an employee of a company and they have a law responsibility to pay you.
I was hired to do a job. Once hired I was denied the same opportunities as the other employees on the team and was forced out of the job because of illegal management practices.

DO – more... NOT BELIEVE A WORD THEY SAY! – less

Poor attitude against sales reps
sales representative (Former Employee), derby – December 24, 2012
Pros: experience
Cons: never get paid!
I used to be a door to door rep with everest and its impossible to make money because in reality you are selling consumers overpriced windows and doors where you can get them cheaper elsewhere!

they never paid for any fuel costs i incurred and as its commission only... its all luck based!

The only good thing is that they paid for my trip to learn – more... about sales in bury and i learnt a lot from there but overall, this is not a job! its slave labour as you never get paid! – less

more bothered about hitting figures then staff
double glazing installer (Current Employee), coventry – December 18, 2012
i have found that theres not much offered by everest in terms of work, the salary is in decline and they do not value the effort and work you put in. I have a great understanding of the job but need more stability then what they can offer.

Door to door sales rep
Door to door sales rep (Former Employee), North west – December 15, 2012
Pros: training
Cons: commission only so no chance of getting paid
Commission only so never received any money towards petrol to different areas of work and to Carlisle (for training every Wednesday over 140 miles round trip), only good thing was the training before you got the job.
In a nutshell, if you have spare cash and can sell overpriced items to people who have already have double glazing plus you could get – more... same quality elsewhere cheaper, then good luck! – less

Paying engineers daily.
Updating complaint reports and meeting dealines to get complaints closed.
Liasing with stores to order parts.

My co workers are fun and lovely to work with.
Comminicating between to installtion managers is the hardest part of the job as they are based in a different office.

Productive and enjoyable work place.
Certified Direct Care Worker (Former Employee), New Boston, MI – March 4, 2013
The most enjoyable part of working for Everest was seeing all the smiles on our consumers faces when they were out with other people having fun and just being part of their community. The hardest part working for Everset was seeing the daily struggles our consumers had, but being there and letting them know I was there to help made it easier.

Professional Security Officer
Associate Degree (Former Employee), Orland, Florida – September 4, 2012
Pros: patroling
Cons: n/a
A typical day at work for me would be, staying focus on the job, excellent, customer service, I have really learned a lot in the security world, such documenting, watching the cameras, patrolling, going on rounds every 30 mins, answering the phone, checking people in and out, etc. I love my co-workers, love to work around and with people. The hardest – more... part of my job is nothing, I do the best at what ever I do. The most enjoyable part of the job is the job it self. – less

Productive workplace
Registrar (Former Employee), Miami, Fl – June 15, 2012
Pros: great work environment
Cons: lack of enrollments
Typical work day for me was very routine. I would start the day off by preparing all the things needed for the instructors. Scheduled classes and process any requests that the students may have. I learned that everyone deserves a second chance. Many people young and old come across challenges in life which may have taken them off course. A person may – more... fail at doing a couple things but there’s always a chance to do something better for yourself. My co-workers were family oriented, laid back and were hard working. The hardest part of my job was at the end of the month when I had to review documents needed for our end of month audit. It was a little tedious, and that’s why it was the hardest part of the job for me. The most enjoyable part of my job and was actually coming to work. I enjoyed it, because I was working for a company that I actually loved. – less
