Disgusting, outrageous managment
Delivery Driver (Former Employee), Llansamlet, Swansea – May 8, 2013
Pros: out and about from the office.
Cons: everything else.
A thankless, greedy, horrible national company to work for. Despite rapidly expanding and profiting in recent years, continues to cut almost every corner imaginable when providing even basic and essential resources and treatment for employees.

Manager is the most unbelieveable person Ive ever known, very little or no credit where credit was often due, – more... breaks down over smallest of incidents and never had the decency to raise issues with employees face-to-face.

Out and about and visiting mostly friendly garages best part of the job. Most co-workers friendly and helpful, select few cause trouble for fun.

Avoid application unless absolutely desperate for work. – less

difficult environment to work in
inventory (Former Employee), birch coppice – April 8, 2013
Pros: worked with some really nice people
Cons: ten hour days with only one half hour break
heatlh and safty very poor
poor facilites for staff
no training and lack of equipment in order for you do your job effectively.
no carrer pospects
poor staff moral
poor procedures in place, my job was mainly to delete stock of system which was lost in warehouse do to the fact we could not keep track of what was coming in and going out of the warehouse – more... effectively.
lots of problems with shorts and excess and pickers only get minimal training.
i did enjoy solving problems with the stock, for example i often did the empty slot report, this involved checking the empty slots on the system, often these had stock in that was either somewhere else on the system or deleted off, so i enjoyed the challenge of findindg where the stock should be and solving the promblems that created. – less

Euro car Parts
Operations Manager (Current Employee), Cambridge – February 27, 2013
Pros: great people, varied tasks, job role.
Cons: long hours.
My day consists of a varied amount of tasks. I look after 15 van drivers, 4 warehouse staff and a Van Co-Ordinator. All of these need managing on a daily basis. I start the day with a plan of action for that day. This includes making sure all the deliveries are booked in, packed away and checked for damages etc. I make sure that the Inventory Counts – more... are done daily and on time with accurate results. I process allcredits that enter the building and manage over 200 customer accounts, both credit and cash.
I have learned much more about keeping to specific timescales and managing my time better and that of others within my team.
My hardest part of the job is to make sure that all my customers are serviced to the requirements of the business and that of their own needs. This is all dependant on traffic condtions and staffing levels at any one time.
The most enjoyable part of my job is working with the people i do. I have a varied range of ethnic colleagues who can all offer something different to the business and my team. It is a pleasure to manage my team and work alongside them. – less

fun workplace but pay no good for whats done
Relif Van Driver (Former Employee), Smethwick – January 29, 2013
Pros: good banter with the warehouse lot
Cons: low wages for the things being done
Its a good workplace but i was a temp worker so the pay wasn't really good at the end of the month(wouldn't of been able to pay full rent).the workers were very welcoming but people did seem to moan about the pay for the amount of work we put in.management was very welcoming as well but both the managers left. The hardest part of the job was if you got – more... a drop in Tipton or just past Dudley and your getting told that you have to be there in 20 minutes because it was a 30 minute drop and the warehouse men took ten minutes to pick the parts.Another hard part was if it was a cash collection, basically you would have to work out the difference if the garage didn't want a part. You had to handle cash which i think wasn't fair because if u made a mistake then it would come out of your wages(which was at minimum wage). But to be fair,i learned how to handling cash and get to some were in a safe manner. – less

Very demanding, nice colleagues, decent environment
Warehouse Operative/ Trainee Ops Manager (Current Employee), Crawley, West Sussex – December 10, 2012
Pros: variable work shifts
Cons: not enough hours, not enough money, physically demanding
The job itself was very physically demanding, I was persecuted for being the newest member of the team and lost shifts over the hierarchy involved, all in all a decent place to work but not my kind of job, I was all in all a good worker and a reference would substantiate this, the computer system was ol and outdated and the organisation of the company – more... was split between 3 different ops managers. – less

Parts driver (Former Employee), Bradford – September 7, 2012
Pros: good salary
Cons: flexible hours
A good busy working environment, with friendly staff. The co-workers were easy to get on with, and were always there. I learned how to do over 40 delivery's within the time given. The hardest part of the job was when you couldn't find your destination. The most enjoyable part of the job was driving and getting paid for it at the same time.
