A typical day at work you go in, get your equipment set up and get ready to start serving customers and cutting meat on skewers. I learned how to deal with difficult people, i learned how to interact with customers much better and actually give them the good time that they went there for. The management could be much better, sometimes strict, some times soft, not really consistent, bad decisions while under pressure and stressed like busy periods. The hardest part of the job was definitely working with the grill chefs as most of the stress came from them, was hard to stay in a good positive mood when the chefs are stressed and the management just the same. The most enjoyable part of the job is seeing customer satisfaction, seeing their happy faces and actually being able to make jokes with them, have a laugh with them.
