Care UK has recently achieved government funding for apprenticeships at all levels and support the development of skills across the Health and Social Care sector. We have actively supported the employer development of trailblazer apprenticeships, including healthcare support worker, senior support worker and assistant care practitioner roles. We currently have 715 apprentices working towards achieving their apprenticeships in areas as diverse as health and social care, administration, management and hospitality and 350 apprentices graduated during 2015. Our priority through 2016 is to invest this grant in both our existing employees and recruiting externally for our apprenticeship programmes investing in 600 team members over the next 12 months.
