I learned how to use computers on a data basis daily, how to do a special delivery on urgent customers, I improved in daily tasks on stock control and hand held scanners, talking and sending emails to customers. fantastic place to work if i lived closer to bicester village i would apply for an other sales assistant position!!!!

It is an honour to work for Burberry for 7 weeks as I have enjoyed and learned a lot. I would love to get a job in Burberry or in a similar place as the people in Burberry are great. I am a good and a quick learner therefore, I was able to carry out the same task as any other permanent employees of Burberry.

It was a good place to work, unfortunately the Burberry closed their production in US in 2009.

Alot of hustle when it was busy usually holiday times. Management was like family. Overall great job.

Everyone works as a team to accomplish all daily functions. We had alot of perks. Very educational.

The company as a whole has gone in the direction of wanting only people who fit the super model image they portray in their European Runway Shows. You will be called fat by upper management and told to lose weight if you are over a size 4. Hard work and dedication is never rewarded no matter how long you work there.
I would not recommend this company – more... at all. Not enough pay for all the stress. If you are doing good on your sales goals, instead of complementing you, regional management will ask why you don't do that good all the time and tell you to use that as a building tool to do better. If you are not making goal, they threaten to fire your entire staff while saying they don't know how to sell the product properly. – less

The days are very long and the store itself is very much understaffed. Co-workers are very goal driven but sometimes management is not there to properly propel associate towards ultimate success. Corporate needs to inquire insight about specific locations rather than lump them all together, especially flagships since they make the most money. My typical day at work consist of Sales, maintaining sales floor, Restocking, Operations, Education on product and the history of the company. Management is easy going and friendly. The management could have done a better job at training with new hires. Co-workers are very friendly and positive for a fun and enjoyable work place.

Burberry is a wonderful luxury retailer to work for. There is great room for growth and it does not take long. The company loves to promote from within.

Some days can be slow like any retail business. The pay is decent, I feel like they could offer more but with commission it can balance out

A typical day would be to write your thank you notes and call your client to invite them to the store whilst setting appointments.
