Fun place to work
Stock Controller (Former Employee), Shaw Oldham – June 16, 2013
Pros: canteen facilities

Co-Workers where fun to get along with as well as the management. Bad thing was the contract was temporary. Management was always helpful.

A good emergency job
General assisting of Bar (Current Employee), Cardiff – June 10, 2013
Pros: regular contact
Cons: unreliable hours.
Blue Arrow was only designed to be temporary. The work is unreliable, the rate of pay is as low as can be and the staff can be very blunt and become agitated easily if you are unavailable (eg Distance, cost etc) for the work they offer you immediately.

Fun work place
Catering Assistant (Current Employee), Swansea – March 28, 2013
Pros: free food after work
Cons: perfect timings
Perfect working environment, work mostly only on weekends, learned time-management, quick service, team-working. Management is really appreciable as it provides all the information in advance, no confusions created and is also very understanding.
Co-workers were from different parts of the country with different cultures and views, I got to learn a – more... lot from them and we used to work as a family.
Hardest part of the job was working at the till, where you have to keep standing continuously for 8-9 hours and ensure perfect and fast service to the customers.
The most enjoyable part of the job was the cleaning job after work where you get time to talk to everyone including management and also celebrate if the work if the collection money was more than expected. – less

productive and fun work space
Kitchen Porter (Former Employee), Royal Sussex Hospital – March 20, 2013
Pros: friendly atmosphere and able to fit in very easily
Cons: this was temporary work
A typical day at work would include taking in and washing all used plates bowls and cutlery that people had left on tables. Taking in all used cooking utensils rinsing and using an industrial dishwasher to wash them and hand washing what would not come off. Replacing stores of all these items when clean.

Cleaning work space wiping down tables and making – more... sure that all of the restaurant was clean and tidy.
Restocking fridges and making sure customers were happy . Working around busy chefs. – less

Pros: nothing at all. (not working for them is a pro )

Worked for them last year and i had an accident (very Minor ) they gave me no more work and still owe me for 3 days WAGES.
Horrible people to work for. if your considering working for this lot in CAMBRIDGE then please think twice.... if you are on benefits then stay on them because at least you will get paid.
They never reply to calls, E-mails, Letters. – more... Nothing !
Total Ignorance.

Somewhere to keep you busy
Branch Administrator (Current Employee), Romford – March 14, 2013
Pros: meeting a variety of people
Cons: cant keep me on
I am always kept on my toes which I love. I am always busy as I am branch administrator to five people at a bust recruiment agency. I also enjoy this role as I have to play some what of a dectective to reference our candidates as they leave me very little to go on.

My manager is fair and understanding she delegates to me well and I am never short of – more... things to do. – less

a work day at blue arrow is usually fun and exciting but very hands on and fast paced, I learned many skills including food hygiene and coshh and how to organize my time well and manage a small team. co-workers are often enthusiastic and outgoing but more importantly usually had great work ethics.

The best agency in Rugby
General Catering Assistant (Current Employee), Rugby – January 30, 2013
Pros: lots of free food working in the catering industry
Cons: no job security
As agencies go Blue Arrow are definitely one of the better ones ive encountered in Warwickshire. They have provided regular work for me at various sites in the area. Only thing i would say is that theirs no real job security working for an agency but thats not unusual.

Productive place to work
warehouse operative (Former Employee), Shirebrook – January 22, 2013
Pros: wage
Cons: long hours, not enough days a week off
Working with Blue Arrow at Sports Direct could be hard at times especially with the Manager of Sports Direct constantly changing the rota so we are either doing 6 days for more than 3 weeks. The money coming in wasnt too bad and the work people could get used to it. With you being on your feet all the time, it took its toll on them especially only having – more... at least one day a week off. I liked the idea of the three strikes and your out deal because for the people that was just ringing in because they cant be bothered, they shouldnt have the job because there are a lot of people actually wanting to work. – less

After one week I call them back and I asked whats – more... happened? Women couldn't find my profile. She asked me can she call me back when other women will be back from lunch time. At very next day I call them back again and she said they are quiet at the moment and next available start will be withing next two weeks. Two days later at 1.45 pm I recived a call - " blue arrow hire.... can you be ready at place of work at 2 pm cause their customer needs operators ..... today only =[ – less
