Aon are the leading insurance broker in compliant systems and developed easy to use computer systems for recording the various processes tracking the various stages of the renewal process. This enabled the Broker to have a clear view of what task had been performed and any outstanding issues.The Teams consisted of
Client Directors/Managers,Team Leader,Client – more... Service Specialist and Client Service Handlers.The role of the Specialist was to assist the Handlers in technical issues and also guide and mentor them.

The day goes really quick as it is very fast paced and always busy with tasks that needs completing that time just flies by before you know it. I have learnt various skills in terms of communcation, organisation, team wokring as well as using own initiative when needed which I belive will help me in the long run. The management team are great who always – more... around to help and always with a smile on their faces. My team is great with various personalities in the team. The hardest part of the job is trying to get something done for an employee such as they need a visa letter but do not give us enough notice whereby we have to turn it around in such a short period of time. But its always fun to overcome the challeneges in order to provide the service to the employees. The most enjoyable part of the job, is knowing that I am contributing as part of the team and fulfiling employees needs. – less

The company has a great work ethos and culture, and even though progression is slow in the department I work in, the company as a whole is internationally huge

I was working as a temp and they were going through some changes.
So the environment wasn't the best. Moral was down.

Very busy stressful call center. Little recognition. Not much job advancement.

The most enjoyable part of the job are the co-workers. Personnel is is carefully selected to be well-educated individuals. The environment is nice, very comfortable, and compensation is passable. The work is at the least, interesting.

However, Aon Hewitt has a revolving door for a reason: personnel is hired in large batches simply to cover seasonal – more... necessities. Once high season is over, rest assure you will be asked to leave on a Friday night. Even those promoted get demoted. Your availability is rarely taken into account and you if you voice your opinion, be ready to be reprimanded with less hours. If you have the pleasure of working in a call center, be sure you don't have a weak bladder, because they do not like it when you go to the bathroom! Anyway, what this means to me is that this company does not put their money where its mouth is. Their Human Resource work ethics are terrible. – less

Its a good company and the finest place to work where you can gain experience with realizing your strength and the potential of whatever you are capable of doing and contribute the same to your company in same way. I worked with a girl who had been with the business for 10 years and had just made manager. She was capable but the managers are very click-ish. They tended to ignor problems rather that seek out root causes. Some of the managers should have been let go long ago but had been there so long they were afraid to deal with them.

Generally everyday is a busy day, and the payroll day is the busiest so doing multiple jobs

Not a good place to work, not family friendly. Would not work there again

As great as the actual work and team can be, this organization is horribly mismanaged and at times, hypocritical. For a business which presumes to consult with other organizations on how best to manage, motivate, and fairly develop employees, AonHewitt does a shockingly poor job internally. Talent is unrewarded, there are limited to no opportunities – more... for upward mobility within the company, the pay is insultingly low, the demands on your time and flexibility frustratingly high. I would never recommend this company to anyone and I can't wait to leave (as does most of the department). – less

Learned varies Benefits and service that was offered to coustmers. Also worked with uncommon softwares.
