Science Teacher

An exciting opportunity awaits for a qualified and enthusiastic Science Teacher to join our team. We invite applications from candidates who are passionate about teaching science and inspiring young minds.

We are looking for dynamic and fully qualified teachers who are the top achievers in their respective fields, grounded in modern pedagogy and tested teaching methods.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach science up to Key Stage 4
  • Teach across all key stages (Key Stages 3, 4, and 5)

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Strong subject knowledge in Biology, Physics, or Chemistry
  • Passionate about sharing the love of science with students
  • Suitable for both talented and ambitious Early Career Teachers (ECT) and experienced teachers seeking to broaden their experience

Work Skills Learning provides an outstanding educational experience to young people with special educational needs and disabilities. Our vision is to find and nurture each young person’s unique abilities and interests, using a range of all our skills and facilities to create a bespoke learning package. We have experience in delivering educational packages, including pre-entry, entry level, GCSE and up to A Levels, while supporting social development and mental well-being. We work with students aged 16 – 25.

Our staff are trained in strategies to support and build relationships with young people to ensure engagement in our services. Many of our young people may have communication challenges or learning difficulties. We have staff to cater for all needs. We work closely with our partners and many local authorities.

All employees are subject to an enhanced check by the Disclosure & Barring Service prior to their permanent employment being confirmed. This is a statutory child protection requirement. The nominee will be required, if not currently employed by the school, to provide original or certified copies of their professional qualifications and provide the details of one personal and two professional referees. Acceptable references must be received before any offer of employment is confirmed.

Salary: £33,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
